Chocolate Biscuit Cake

This recipe comes courtesy of my work friend Caroline. Its super easy to make and no oven required!

You will need:

  • condensed milk
  • pack of digestive biscuits
  • two bars of cooking chocolate
  • knob of butter
Break up one bar of cooking chocolate into a bowl and put over a pan of simmering water to melt it.

Bash up your digestive biscuits. I put mine in a sandwich bag and hammered with a rolling pin. Or you can use a blender if you prefer.
Make sure you have a lined tray or a silicone tin so that you can put your mix into.

Keep stirring your chocolate until it is all melted.

Add your knob of butter so that your chocolate stays nice and shiny.

Add in your condensed milk and give it a good stir so it is all mixed in.

Add in your crushed biscuit.
Mix it all together so the biscuit is evenly distributed.
Pour into your tray.

Break up your other bar of chocolate into a another bowl and set over a pan of simmering water to melt it.

Keep stirring so your chocolate doesn't burn.

Once melted pour over your biscuit mixture.

Pop in the fridge for a few hours, feel free to lick the spoon and bowl now : )

Once it has set cut up and dive in!
